Usually Decembers are pretty much the bomb for me, it used to be school holidays then which turned into work holidays later in life.
This year, it decides to be alittle special like as if it really mattered how it was perceived. My pay was the first in line, 300 bucks struck off. Then came the few events all of which requires some form of token and finally my computer speakers simply died on me (and we’re not talking about the constant mouse problems yet).
So you know what? I’m gonna go tell Santa in the face if he appears, that although I don’t believe in your existence you better be watching your back.
Just cause the year is ending badly for me doesn’t mean I couldn’t care less, I’m gonna fight for next year like it ought to be mine.

Been feeling like a dead pig the whole week. I don’t understand, i think I’m sleeping fine on most days but I wake up feeling as if there was no rest at all.
Feel like putting it all away and concentrate on what I wanna do, but I just can’t afford it at the moment. Maybe I’ll speak to Edric about it, that’s next year’s plan…maybe…

Had the privilege to work on a really cool session with zsa+claire, not about the fact that they are 2 female musicians or anything like that.
That said, they are head and shoulders above most of the local big headed fucks out there who think of themselves as the whole package. The original is really tasteful, heavily influenced Damien Rice style.
One of the rare moments that I allow myself to not be a metronome nazi and enforce it. Live tracking is new to me too, mixing it was a revelation. 3 hours and that’s it, the deadline to submit the song.
One big thing I learnt was to trust my instincts, the result was luckily good and well received. I wonder if I’ll get a lucky break sometime soon, or at least move into a slightly more relevant position to hone my chops.
